REGISTATION & ACCEPTANCE

Lomie G. Heard Elementary School is a CCSD Magnet School and requires application and acceptance through an online system at magnet.ccsd.net.

REGISTRATION BEGINS IN APRIL 21, 2025

​

PART 1 - ACCEPTING YOUR MAGNET SEAT

After completing the on-time or late magnet application through the SchoolMint system, your student will need to be selected through the Lottery system. Once selected in the Lottery, you MUST accept the seat in the SchoolMint application before your spot at LGH is reserved. Once you accept your magnet seat, then you can complete the next steps in the Registration process.

PART 2 - ONLINE REGISTRATION (OLR)

Returning Families: 

Log on to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account (use button to the right) and complete all OLR information. Every parent/guardian has a username/password from the previous year. If you need assistance with username/password retrieval, please call the main office at 702-799-4920 and we will assist you however we can.  If you are new to LGH but returning to CCSD, please connect with your child's current school for username/password reset in Infinite Campus. Prior to hitting the “Submit” button, please make a note of the application number. This will need to be turned in during Part 3.

New Families:

Families new to CCSD or returning after being gone for the school year will complete a New to District OLR. Click the button below to begin the registration. Please carefully check that all information being entered is accurate. Prior to hitting the “Submit” button, please make a note of the application number. This will need to be turned in during Part 3.

PART 3 - SCHOOL REGISTRATION

After you have completed the Online Registration, you will need to complete the registration packet and provide documentation.

  • Documents Needed for Returning Families:
    • Photo ID

    • Proof of Residency (Mortgage or Lease, Utility Bill)

    • May be dropped off in person at the main office or emailed to the clerk Ronnie Ensminger at ensmirm@nv.ccsd.net

  • Documents Needed for New Families
    • Original Birth Certificate (MUST be presented in person at the main office)

    • Immunization Record (Immunizations MUST be up to date for learner to start on first day of school)

    • Photo ID

    • Proof of Residency (Mortgage or Lease, Utility Bill)

    • Original Birth Certificate must be brought to the main office in person. All other documents may be dropped off in person at the main office or emailed to the clerk Ronnie Ensminger at ensmirm@nv.ccsd.net
